I've given up on what I was holding out for, so I'm prepared to submit this without the picture.

This entire story is based on Muse's 'The Gallery'. A three-and-a-half minute piece of music, that is entirely instrumental. I always felt an atmosphere to it when I listened to it. So, after leaving it stuck on repeat, I began to imagine how this might look, if it were made into a music video. Eventually, I decided to make it more realistic, and do it the way I do things best: in prose form. And so here it is. If I were a genuine artist, I would have put a brush to canvas, and conjured up what I really feel. But I'm much better with mindful thoughts than visual display, so that's why I didn't do a design myself. If you've not heard the track before, I strongly recommend listening to it, because it plays in time with the story.

I wrote this piece with ~liart66 in mind. I did in fact design the main character around her, and therefore this is my dedication. In the short time I've known you, there's been plenty of inspiration. So thanks, and keep it together.

Thank you.

Wow...

You have such amazing vocabulary. The imagery in this is... simply incredible. I'm beyond words. It's just... stunning. It's one of the best pieces of prose I've come across on this website. Easily. x
